Striding Out are working with the Job Centres in Northumberland and Newcastle to provide employers with grants to cover the salary costs of a young person working for 6 months.
The young person must be aged 18-24. The criteria for the job roles :
- The job role has to have an ethical, social, cultural or environmental focus and impact. It has to be for a minimum of 25 hrs per week.
During the placement, Striding Out will provide coaching to the young person to help them reach their goals and to help secure a beneficial outcome both for the young person and the employer.
