Employment Advice and Support Manager (Back on Board project)

Age Concern North Tyneside seeks an experienced and enthusiastic Employment Advice and Support Manager for its 'Back on Board' project - an information, advice and support service for over 50's in North Tyneside that helps clients explore options in personal development, training and employment.

The post holder will provide guidance and mentoring services and will deliver the IAG contract. The post holder will be responsible for the management, development and delivery of several initiatives including individual and group advice and guidance sessions, networking with partners and other agencies, employer relations and pre-retirement advice and guidance.

The post holder will also have line management responsibility for staff and volunteers and must be qualified in NVQ Level 4 in Guidance or equivalent.
