Administrator/Information Worker

NECA (North East Council on Addictions) seek a qualified Administrator/Information Worker. The postholder will be based in the organisations Oasis Information Shop which provides a information and advice on a range of issues to service users.

Duties will include: providing a high standard of administrative support to service users, carers and internal/external agencies, ensuring the smooth operation of reception and telephone handling, ensuring all data is inputted in to the project database properly and supporting the senior administrator in developing systems and procedures relevant to the efficient working of the project.

The successful candidate will possess excellent communication and organisational skills and a NVQ Level 2 Business Administration with relevant qualifications and experience in typing / word processing, data entry, using Microsoft software, IT and Access database. Knowledge of drug and alcohol issues would be desirable.
