UnLtd launch new round of funding
The UnLtd Level 2 Awards will be open to expressions of interest in February with up to £15,000 in funding and support available to individuals who have innovative and entrepreneurial solutions to the challenges facing communities and the wider society. UnLtd encourage applications from individuals who can demonstrate a vision to bring about social change via a project they have established or are in the process of developing.
The funding awarded must be used to either support individuals whose ideas are already developed or to pay for an individuals living expenses to allow them to dedicate more time to their project. UnLtd will be as flexible as possible in matching the funding awarded to the needs of the project and will provide support via a dedicated Development Manager who will design a support package tailored specifically to the individual and project enabling applicants to drive forward with their vision for long lasting social change.
Applicants must adhere to the following criteria:
- The applicant must be the founder/lead person of the project
- The project must have been operating for at least a year
- The applicant must provide evidence of the social impact of their project, i.e. the difference the project has made to its beneficiaries
- The project must have UK beneficiaries
- The applicant must be resident in the UK during the length of the proposed project
Expression of interest forms will be available via the UnLtd website from 26 February 2010. The expression of interest deadline is 22 March 2010, 12:00pm and the full application deadline is 19 April 2010, 12:00pm.
