Social investment provider CAN urges social enterprise to create franchises

Social investment provider CAN, a charity that supports social entrepreneurs to scale up their businesses to maximise their impact, has plans to embark  upon a new service that will help social enterprises that are keen to create franchises across Britain.

Andrew Croft, Chief Executive of CAN, recently stated that the charity is currently seeking partners with business models that could potentially be replicated in other areas of the country.

Croft believes that the social enterprise sector needs to be a sector and way of doing business that everyone can identify. Croft sees recognisable brands as instrumental, with franchising as an excellent way to achieve this.

CAN aims to provide franchising-related services up front for organisations seeking to replicate their business models and recover costs from the service once it becomes successful.

To find out more about the organization please visit the CAN website. To enquire about becoming a partner please contact the CAN Head Office on 020 7250 8000.
