Private bank Coutts & Co launches Social Enterprise Advisory Service
Private bank, Coutts & Co, has launched a Social Enterprise Advisory Service – the first of its kind in Britain. The service aims to encourage its entrepreneurial clients to become more involved in the social enterprise sector , and even develop social enterprises themselves.
Experts from the sector ClearlySo, UnLtd and School for Social Entrepreneurs will form the advisory panel, aiding Coutts’ clients to get involved in the social enterprise movement by enabling them to:
- Invest in or make donations to social enterprises
- Provide mentoring or advice to social enterprises
- Form social enterprises themselves
- Involve more social enterprises in their supply chains
Coutts will also play host to a number of educational days for clients and ‘speed-networking’ events which will connect potential investors with social enterprises in need of investment funding.
The bank has also launched a Guide to Social Enterprise, developed in partnership with the Social Enterprise Coalition, which provides information on structure, funding and measuring impact. The Guide is available to download at the Coutts & Co website.
