New Chief Executive of Social Enterprise Coalition announced
The Social Enterprise Coalition has announced that Peter Holbrook will succeed Jonathan Bland as Chief Executive when he resigns from his position at the start of next year. Peter, a Social Enterprise Ambassador and Chief Executive of Sunlight Development Trust, a social enterprise based in Kent , will bring a wealth of experience to the role.
Sunlight, whose aim is to address health and social inequalities in the community, has achieved notable success in recent years. In 2004, Sunlight won the Community Regeneration Award at the British Urban Regeneration Awards, and Sunlight Social Enterprises CIC, responsible for Café Sunlight, Parentis and Radio Sunlight, was awarded Best New Social Enterprise at the 2008 Enterprising Solutions Awards. The Social Enterprise Coalition are confident that Peter's pioneering work with Sunlight makes him the perfect person for the role of Chief Executive.
