New artists' co-operative opens
Artists using the attractive new studios and gallery space in Newcastle have set up a co-operative. There are currently 24 members who believe being part of a co-operative will provide them with improved publicity, networking and security.
High Bridge Studios is located in a refurbished 19th century warehouse, and features studios, gallery and office space. The gallery space is attractive, and the studios, within the context of both the industrial feel of the building, and the synergies of the artists’ community, appear functional and motivational.
