Mobile workspace, Launch Pad, now open for 2011 bookings
Launch Pad is a mobile workspace that provides organisations and companies with a unique way to communicate the message of enterprise and entrepreneurship into communities from schools and colleges to rural area, youth groups, communities and shopping centres.
The Launch Pad service includes:
- Provision of high quality, spacious vehicle with kitchen facilities
- Full tech suite including 40 inch flat screen LCD TV, interactive touch sensitive white board and data protector, suite of 12 laptops with internet access, colour printer
- Delivery to chosen site within the region at no extra cost
- Vehicle managed by Launch Pad operator
Launch Pad is operated by The North East Enterprise Board (NEEB), a registered charity which works to positively influence the culture and attitudes within the region towards enterprise, employment and skills. Launch Pad, their innovative mobile support service vehicles, allows organisations to engage with hard to reach communities by delivering events and workshops across the North East.
This service if free from Monday to Friday for partners, with weekend bookings charged at the heavily discounted rate of £600 per day. Costs for bank holidays may very (where available). Please note this service does not include extra costs (i.e. site/location fees), which should be agreed and invoiced directly to the client.
It is expected that demand for this service will be high, so early bookings are recommended to avoid disappointment.
