Managers of organisations in rural communities to benefit from new programme
PNE Development are offering a free management development programme - 'Reaching Out - Building Sustainability in Rural Communities' - to managers working in isloated rural communities in the North East.
The Reaching Out programme enables those with management roles in rurally-based VCS organisations to benefit from a course of 12 one day workshops, as well as the opportunity to work towards an NVQ in Management through the Chartered Management Institute or an NVQ in Management of Volunteers through the Institute of Leadership and Management.
The 12 one day workshops aim to be interactive and informative, giving participants an opportunity to netowrk and build partnerships. The workshops will cover the following topics:
- Directing the Future
- Managing Staff and Volunteers
- Successful Project Management
- Financing your Organisation
- Sharing your Success - Effective Marketing and Promotion
- Maximising Personal Effectiveness
All workshops will take place at the Morton Park Business Centre in Darlington.
