An ambitious new project to support the North East's voluntary and community sector (VCS) was launched in early June.  The project is called SkillsBridge, and has been set up with the support of funding from One NorthEast by North East Enterprise Bond (NEEB) and will match up experts from the private and public sectors with VCS organisations, helping them to build bespoke, sustainable skills at a time when practical and financial support from elsewhere is in short supply.

The five year programme will be funded by a charitable bond with investments from a wide range of businesses, public sector bodies, charitable trusts and individuals.

For further information about SkillsBridge and to register an interest in being involved in the project call 0191 275 5059 or email aiden@skills-bridge.org. You can also read more about North East Enterprise Bond here on NESEP's website.
