Cranfield School of Management create bursary scheme
The Milton Keynes based Cranfield School of Management has run its Business and Growth Development Programme since 1988 and recently has welcomed social enterprises to study alongside private sector businesses.
Cranfield now hopes to attract further social enterprises and has created a new bursary scheme, through which five social enterprises or social entrepreneurs will receive substantial funding of course fees.
The School is looking for social entrepreneurs/social enterprises that have:
- Established a social enterprise that is beyond the startup phase and has a proven business model - the enterprise is therefore likely to have traded for at least three years with a proven track record of delivery
- The motivation and talent to create enterprises that have a significant impact
- Created a social enterprise with potential to develop rapidly
The programme consists of modules, allowing participants to run their enterprise whilst attending the programme.
To find out more about the programme please visit the Cranfield School of Management website.
To register interest in the next Business Growth and Development Programme, starting in September 2010, or for more information please email David Molian, Programme Director at d.molian@cranfield.ac.uk.
