Capacitybuilders announce £2m capital investment in 3rd sector resource centres
Four flagship resource centre projects across Britain are set to receive grants of up to £500,000, with Gateshead Citizens Advice Bureau among the organisations to benefit from the capital investment grants.
The grants, funded by the Office of the Third Sector, are being awarded as part of the final strand of the £7 million Capacitybuilders-led Capital Investment Programme. The Programme aims to support the development of new resource centres and shared services for co-located organisations.
Gateshead Citizens Advice Bureau was awarded £490,000 and, having previously secured funding to develop the first two floors of its resource centre, will use the grant to develop the remaining two floors of the centre.
