Call for Steering Group Members from the Pentagon Partnership
The Pentagon Partnership Steering Group is comprised of representatives from Tyne and Wear based infrastructure organisations and community networks and provides the overall direction of Pentagon Partnership's work. In October, the Steering Group made the decision to widen their criteria for membership in order to be more representative of the third sector. Pentagon Partnership is currently looking to recruit 4 new members to complement and value to the existing Steering Group, and is keen to have the issues of social enterprises represented within the group.
Pentagon Partnership is keen to hear from individuals that work for a social enterprise (or any third sector organisation) based in Tyne and Wear and have expertise in two or more of the following areas:
- Third sector public service delivery/commissioning
- Collaboration and partnership working
- Developing enterprise within the sector
- Influencing decision-makers
- Third sector involvement in economic regeneration including Employment and Skills and Transport issues
Interested parties should email info@pentagonpartnership.org.uk with an Expression of Interest including 200 words on their suitability for the role based on experience in areas mentioned above. The deadline for Expressions of Interest is 7 January 2010.
If more than four applicants express an interest, Pentagon Partnership will circulate the expressions of interest to its database of third sector organisations who will vote in a ballot to decide the successful applicants.
The successful applicants will receive a full induction process before the next meeting of the Steering Group on 21 January 2010.
