ACAS launch employment support helpline
As part of the BASIS 2 programme, a partnership approach to providing specialist support services to the North East voluntary and community sector, ACAS (Advisory, Conciliation and Arbitration Service) has set up a helpline that will provide direct access to support regarding employment issues. Advice is available on a range of issues including:
- Recruitment and contracts
- Absence management
- Discipline and grievance
- Bullying and harassment
- Flexible working
- Communications
- Equality and diversity
- Handling conflict
