Strengthening the Women's Sector Conference
Women's voluntary and community organisations in the North East provide free and often life saving services to women from all walks of life and lobby to end discrimination against women. However, many are in danger of being closed down. NEWomen's Network are holding a conference to explore how best to sustain the women's sector in the North East.
The conference aims to:
- Raise the profile of the women's sector in the North East and influence the strategic priorities of support agencies, charitable funders and public sector commissioners on women's issues.
- Provide practical guidance on fundraising and income generation for women's groups and organisations.
